Killer rod rack.
Awesome rod rack. This thing looks great and works well. For the price you can't beat it.
As advertised.
Instructions a little sketchy. Finished product works as advertised. End clutter take up a lot less wall or ceiling space.
Works
Works as described thanks!!
Holds my rods.
Read the description! This is very small it holding my rods but i would not purchase again as it is also lightweight and can easily tip. Nothing wrong with product whatsoever I just want something bigger and sturdier.
Got the 24-rod size. Not perfect.
Once assembled, it works very well. A nice, lightweight rack. I got the black one without logos. It's unobtrusive. Not pretty like my wooden racks, not ugly like my plastic one. It looks fine, and is lightweight. Aluminum square stock, with plastic bits. If you drop it or knock it over, the plastic corner pieces would probably break.Issue #1. The small aluminum bars pop into plastic corner pieces, with spring-loaded ball bearings that pop into holes in the plastic. One of the pop-up bearings is in the wrong place and doesn't line up with the hole in the plastic corner piece, but the rack went together anyway.Issue #2. The bigger square bars that serve as the base and the uprights. There are plastic caps that slide on. These serve as caps on the uprights, and they serve as feet on the base. But they don't fit snugly...and fall off or slide off if you lift or move the rack. An easy fix...I epoxied them in place. You could use a blob of silicone or whatever. Not a big issue, but for sixty bucks there should be a tube of silicone or some kinda spooge to stick these things on.On the plus side, fully loaded with 24 rods, half of them with reels mounted, I can grab it by the uprights and easily pick it up and move it. A similar wooden rack would be heavy enough to be cumbersome.
