Really nice reel for the money! This reel fits my hand really good, solid and smooth. Drag and brake are solid and easy to dial in.

Great baitcaster

I bought this reel early last season. Was going to use it as inexpensive option when I go out in ny kayak. Was worried about dropping my Tatula overboard and losing it.
But after using this a few times I like it better than my Daiwa reels.
So this has become my #1.
Dozens of fish in the boat and no issues with this reel whatsoever. Shes still going strong. Thanks Kastking!

Brutus baitcaster

Nice little reel, good casting distance. A little stiff on retrieval, but hopefully a drop or two of reel oil should fix that.

My first Kastking

I purchased a Kastking Brutus baitcast reel, this is the first time ever using a Kastking. My buddy and fishing partner introduced me to Kastking earlier this year. I am very impressed with the quality of the reel it is smooth casting and very light and comfortable. I caught 7 bass in heavy cover and the reel did not falter at all. I will be purchasing more Kastking reels in the near future. It works just as good as my more expensive reels so far.
